Det var sm\u00e5 k\u00f8bm\u00e6nd, hvor de n\u00f8dvendige varer blev solgt til stedets familier og hvor der fandtes lidt af hvert. Disse sm\u00e5 forretninger var et knudepunkt og et m\u00f8dested for datidens beboere.\nMen Bianca gjorde mere. <strong>Hun begyndte ogs\u00e5 at tilberede egnens enkle, traditionelle retter til vejfarende og forbipasserende arbejdere, og omdannede sin forretning til en \u00e6gte kro, med god mad og drikke<\/strong>.\nDisse butikker, som Biancas, fik dog ikke en lang levetid, men blev fortr\u00e6ngt af st\u00f8rre butikker med et st\u00f8rre udvalg, som i mellemtiden var blevet nemme at n\u00e5 i bil og disse var ogs\u00e5 begyndt at blive brugt af omegnens landm\u00e6nd. Biancas butik m\u00e5tte desv\u00e6rre lukke i 1963.\nMen n\u00e6sten 60 \u00e5r senere, da vi gik i gang med at bygge vores nye restaurant og derfor m\u00e5tte t\u00f8mme de store rum i g\u00e5rdens garage, der i \u00e5revis kun havde v\u00e6ret optaget af st\u00f8vede redskaber, fandt vi en gammel h\u00e5ndskrevet bog med mange opskrifter. Ved at snakke med byens \u00e6ldre, som stadig godt kan huske Biancas butik, fandt vi ud af, at det virkeligt var hendes kogebog.\n<strong>Og det er derfor, at vi har besluttet os til at give vores restaurant navnet Nonna Bianca, til \u00e6re for hende, som er en inspirationskilde for os, som har valgt at tilbyde vores g\u00e6ster den gode smag af det traditionelle
